Dr. Brantley Meier

Dr. Meier is the owner and lead doctor of The Bridge Chiropractic. As a former professional baseball player, he has experienced first-hand the incredible power and success of chiropractic. After suffering a career ending injury, he had extensive experience with chiropractic, physical therapy, and orthopedics. Seeing the healing power and life changing effectiveness of chiropractic, he knew that improving people’s lives through chiropractic was his purpose and calling.

Prior to becoming a chiropractor, Dr. Meier had always been involved in elite athletics. After playing baseball, basketball, and football, and earning All-State honors in high school, he began a very successful career in Division I baseball at Charleston Southern University. He was a four-year starter, breaking the single season hits record his junior year, while finishing in the top two in single -season runs scored and stolen bases in CSU history.

In the beginning of his first professional season, a season ending hamstring injury ignited his love and passion for the human body. He saw how through the removal of the nerve interference and the structural restoration of the spine, he was able to return to the field better than ever. Instead of signing his contract the following year, he decided to enroll immediately to become a chiropractor in order to give to others the life changing healing and health benefits that he experienced through chiropractic. After earning his Doctorate of Chiropractic from Sherman College, Dr. Meier returned home to Charleston, SC. Born and raised as a Charlestonian, he is dedicated to taking care of his family and neighbors throughout the entire city. For many years, he has been heavily involved in volunteering in a multitude of ways. He has spent time in various prison ministries through Impact Sports, and for years he was an active board member for Carolina Miracle League, an organization dedicated to children with special needs in sports. Currently, he is a board member for Charleston Animal Society and helps with the Hope Center through Cathedral of Praise.

Passionate about elite performance and maximizing the body’s potential, he still works with multiple Major League Baseball teams and professional athletes across a variety of sports. When he is not treating patients or volunteering, he enjoys power-lifting, mixed martial arts, and spending time with his puppy, Koda. Dr. Meier is excited to help you take control of your health and to optimize all that you have to offer!
